Enjoy! Fall activities in
River John
Many years ago I ran across this list of lessons, originally compiled by Regina Brett and published in The
Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio. Since then, I occasionally take it out and see how I’m doing…only to discover
one thing or another that - if I only were to stop for a minute and decide to change - would help me be a better
man, husband and neighbour.
So in the interest of the Christmas season, I offer it to you dear reader, for whatever good it may bring in your
life in the coming days and years.

35. Don’t audit life... Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

45. Life isn’t tied with a bow, but it’s still a gift.
And here’s the BIG one ... Never forget that Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
Merry Christmas!
