Produces: Market lambs; Scottish Blackface, Bluefaced Leicester, Suffolk sheep; Great Pyrenees and Border Collie dogs."Back-Acre Farm is a full-time commercial sheep farm selling lambs all year round. The sheep are mainly Romanov x Bluefaced Leicester ewes put to Suffolk or Dorset rams, also some females of this cross are kept for producing early lambs. There are also small flocks of Romanov, Bluefaced Leicester, and British Suffolk for breeding replacements and my own rams. There is a small flock of Scottish Blackface sheep. The farm uses Great Pyrenees guard dogs to protect the sheep from predators and Border Collies for herding. Pups of these two breed will be produced periodically if demand for working dogs warrants it."
